James R. Howell is a 1984 graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in History.

 

During his life he worked as a Park Ranger with the State of Tennessee; Officer with the U. S. Secret Service Uniformed Division; Memphis Police Department with a decade spent as an investigative Sergeant in Robbery, Homicide and Security Squad retiring in April of 2015 at the rank of Major after 25 years of service.
